Hello, I’m James and and I own Turnbull and Dunn. I hand make 1920s and 30s inspired flat caps. I design, make the patterns and sew the caps in my workroom in the Yorkshire Dales.

I graduated from The Scottish College of Textiles in 1989 (now Heriot Watt School of Textiles and Design) with a degree in Clothing Design. I worked for many years in the clothing industry as a pattern cutter in Ladies tailoring.

All my caps are made to order and are ready for delivery 2 weeks from the order being placed.

Caps are sent with Royal Mail tracked and signed for.
